AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Outreach Athletic Trainer at its Sports Medicine clinic on Orlando Avenue in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct initial assessments of athlete injuries and illnesses and evaluate readiness to return to play
- Design and implement comprehensive rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention programs using evidence-based practice
- Provide emergency care and perform clinical evaluation and diagnosis for sports-related injuries
- Collaborate with team physicians, coaches, parents, and allied health professionals to prevent, evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries
- Maintain medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards, applying standard coding and billing practices
- Represent and market Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation programs within the hospital and surrounding community
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field (required)
- Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) credential (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- 1+ year of athletic training experience (preferred)
- 1+ year in a healthcare or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook; ability to communicate clearly in English
