About this role
AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its OB Emergency Department on the day shift at its Orlando, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for OB/ED patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
- At least one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- EKG interpretation capability per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills.
