About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night StaffFlex contract role at its inpatient facility in Celebration, Florida, at a rate of $60/hr.
### What you'll do
- Deliver coordinated, compassionate nursing care to assigned L&D patients on night shifts (36 hours/week).
- Conduct thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Implement interventions from the care plan safely and in a timely manner, documenting all actions taken.
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel using professional judgment and independent discretion.
- Facilitate timely patient placement by following hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Collect and document patient health data systematically to support continuity of care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills; proficiency in Windows-based computer programs.
