The Hospitals of Providence – Trans Mountain Campus in El Paso, Texas is recruiting a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its Labor & Delivery surgical team on a per diem, night-shift basis. This is a hands-on scrub role within a multi-hospital health system that has served the El Paso community since 1902 and includes a dedicated children's hospital among its five campuses. Practice Highlights
- Scrub role embedded in the Labor & Delivery surgical suite — focused case mix in obstetric and gynecologic operative procedures
- Night-shift coverage with on-call availability on an assigned, scheduled basis as determined by unit need
- Responsibilities include full case management: pulling cases, setting up the OR with required instrumentation and sterile supplies, scrubbing and passing instruments intraoperatively, and breaking down cases at procedure end
- Sets up the operating room and prepares supplies for the current day's and following day's surgical schedule
- Strict maintenance of aseptic technique throughout all phases of the surgical case
- Part of a five-hospital regional system with a dedicated children's hospital and broad subspecialty service lines serving the greater El Paso community

Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program (required)
- Active Surgical Technology certification (CST) required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Associate degree preferred
- Minimum one year of surgical technology experience preferred
- Demonstrated competency in aseptic technique and full scrub-role responsibilities across surgical cases
