<p>The Hospitals of Providence – Trans Mountain Campus in El Paso, Texas is recruiting a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its Labor &amp; Delivery surgical team on a per diem, night-shift basis. This is a hands-on scrub role within a multi-hospital health system that has served the El Paso community since 1902 and includes a dedicated children's hospital among its five campuses. <h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Scrub role embedded in the Labor &amp; Delivery surgical suite — focused case mix in obstetric and gynecologic operative procedures</li> <li>Night-shift coverage with on-call availability on an assigned, scheduled basis as determined by unit need</li> <li>Responsibilities include full case management: pulling cases, setting up the OR with required instrumentation and sterile supplies, scrubbing and passing instruments intraoperatively, and breaking down cases at procedure end</li> <li>Sets up the operating room and prepares supplies for the current day's and following day's surgical schedule</li> <li>Strict maintenance of aseptic technique throughout all phases of the surgical case</li> <li>Part of a five-hospital regional system with a dedicated children's hospital and broad subspecialty service lines serving the greater El Paso community</li> <li>Institution with over 120 years of continuous community service and a multi-generational patient base across the El Paso region</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program (required)</li> <li>Active Surgical Technology certification (CST) required</li> <li>Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>Associate degree preferred</li> <li>Minimum one year of surgical technology experience preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated competency in aseptic technique and full scrub-role responsibilities across surgical cases</li> </ul>
