<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time, permanent position on the night shift in the Labor and Delivery unit</li> <li>Direct clinical care responsibilities including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care on a per-shift and unit level</li> <li>Supervisory accountability for staff to whom care is appropriately delegated</li> <li>Medication administration in accordance with hospital policy, with a focus on safety and timeliness</li> <li>Practice guided by established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control</li> <li>Participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies and disaster events</li> <li>Part of a five-campus regional health system, including a dedicated children's hospital, with a broad referral base across the El Paso region</li> <li>System with over 120 years of community presence and a multi-generational patient population</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred</li> <li>Minimum one year of RN experience required for PRN status; recent acute care experience preferred</li> <li>Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice</li> <li>Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required as applicable per unit policy — NRP is standard for L&amp;D placement</li> </ul>
