Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Active Tennessee RN license or valid multi-state compact permit
- BLS certification required upon hire
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire for L&D RNs
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required within 3 months of hire for L&D RNs at the Bartlett campus; candidates should be prepared to obtain NRP regardless of site assignment given the patient population
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care for obstetric patients across the full shift cycle, including newly admitted patients and those with evolving acuity
