This is a direct patient care role in a high-acuity L&D unit at a Joint Commission-accredited hospital that serves as an academic training site for University of Tennessee residents in Surgery, Family Practice, and Psychiatry. Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Active Tennessee RN license or valid multi-state compact licensure/permit required at time of hire
- BLS certification required upon hire
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire (L&D RNs are explicitly included in this requirement)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required within 3 months of hire for L&D RNs at the Bartlett campus; candidates should confirm campus assignment at time of offer
- Demonstrated competency in L&D specialty procedures and multi-disciplinary care coordination
