Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis is recruiting an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join its Women's Services team at its 479-bed full-service academic medical center on Park Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a direct patient care role in a high-acuity L&D unit at a Joint Commission-accredited hospital that serves as an academic training site for University of Tennessee residents in Surgery, Family Practice, and Psychiatry. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for eligible candidates, making this an attractive opportunity for an L&D nurse ready to practice at a recognized regional center of excellence.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Active Tennessee RN license or valid multi-state compact licensure/permit required at time of hire
  • BLS certification required upon hire
  • ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire (L&D RNs are explicitly included in this requirement)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required within 3 months of hire for L&D RNs at the Bartlett campus; candidates should confirm campus assignment at time of offer
  • Demonstrated competency in L&D specialty procedures and multi-disciplinary care coordination
