About the Community

New Braunfels sits along the Guadalupe and Comal rivers in the Texas Hill Country, roughly midway between San Antonio and Austin — giving residents easy access to two major metros while enjoying a distinctly smaller-city quality of life. The area is consistently ranked among the fastest-growing cities in the United States, with a thriving local economy, highly regarded schools, abundant river recreation, and a strong German heritage reflected in its festivals and culture. Cost of living remains favorable relative to the Austin and San Antonio metro cores, and the outdoor lifestyle — tubing, hiking, and lake access — draws clinicians who want both professional opportunity and genuine work-life balance.
