<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred</li> <li>Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required</li> <li>No minimum experience required; two or more years in acute care and prior clinical nursing experience preferred</li> <li>Active AHA or ARC Healthcare Provider BLS on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days of hire</li> <li>AHA ACLS required within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (Labor & Delivery); completion before end of orientation period strongly preferred</li> <li>AHA NRP required within 60 days of hire or transfer into Labor & Delivery (applies to any nurse floated into L&D); completion before end of orientation period strongly preferred</li> <li>Fetal Monitoring — Novice RNs: GNOSIS Introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring within 30 days of hire; AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring within 8 months of L&D orientation.
