Practice Highlights

- Direct clinical patient care role: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care on a per-shift and unit level
- Responsible for supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated

- Women's Services is a dedicated service line within a comprehensive tertiary care campus that includes Emergency, ICU/Critical Care, Stepdown, Med/Surg/Telemetry, Same Day Surgery, OR, PACU, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Care, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Behavioral Health
- Practice governed by Tennessee Board of Nursing standards, hospital policy, and departmental procedures

Qualifications
- Active RN licensure or permit in the State of Tennessee required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- No prior experience required; new graduates are eligible
- BLS certification required upon hire
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire (L&D RNs are explicitly included in this requirement)
- NRP or additional L&D-specific certifications may be expected per departmental standards consistent with the hospital's certification framework
