<p>Saint Luke's Hospital in San Antonio, Texas is recruiting a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support its Labor & Delivery surgical suite within a large, faith-based health system with more than 120 years of community service. This role sits at the intersection of obstetric and surgical care, providing direct scrub and technical support across the full perioperative continuum for surgical and OB patients of all ages. The position is part of a collaborative perioperative team at a system that includes six full-service hospitals, a specialized children's hospital, a comprehensive cancer care network, and a dedicated School of Health Professions.</p>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of a CHEA-accredited surgical technology program required</li> <li>Active certification as a CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) <strong>or</strong> TS-C (Technician in Surgery–Certified) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire</li> <li>Minimum one year of experience as a Surgical or OB Technologist in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred</li> <li>Comfort with the full scope of perioperative scrub and circulating duties, including obstetric surgical cases</li> </ul>
