Arizona Sports Medicine Center in Scottsdale, AZ is recruiting an Ortho Tech to support a busy outpatient sports medicine and physical rehabilitation practice. This role works directly alongside licensed Physical Therapists, PTAs, Occupational Therapists, and OTAs, providing hands-on patient care support across a full age spectrum — pediatric through geriatric. The position is part of a multispecialty healthcare network with approximately 20 outpatient clinic locations and over 120 employed physicians and practitioners across the greater Phoenix Valley.

Practice Highlights

  • Outpatient sports medicine and physical rehabilitation setting on Via De Ventura Blvd, Scottsdale
  • Patient population spans pediatric through geriatric, with an orthopedic and sports medicine focus
  • Direct support role working under the supervision of PTs, PTAs, OTs, and OTAs
  • Responsibilities include assisting with dressing changes and donning/doffing of orthopedic braces
  • Patient transport assistance and workload scheduling and prioritization as assigned
  • Inventory management support for therapy supplies; equipment readiness checks prior to use
  • Maintenance of hydrotherapy areas, treatment areas, and linen supplies per policy and procedure standards
  • Part of a regional network comprising 5 acute care hospitals, 4 neighborhood emergency centers, and approximately 20 primary care and specialty outpatient locations across the Phoenix Valley

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to complete established position competencies within the designated introductory period
  • Comfort working with patients across the full age spectrum, from pediatric to geriatric, under appropriate clinical supervision
