What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of 13 pediatric hospitalists
- Call structure: Subject to change, to be discussed during the interview process
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Access to a comprehensive array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, a dedicated pediatric burn center, and advanced clinical infrastructure for procedural sedation and ground transport medical control
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Provide high-quality inpatient medical care to pediatric patients with diverse and complex diagnoses, managing medical treatments, procedural sedations, and co-management protocols alongside surgical and medical subspecialists.
- Serve as the medical control authority for the Pediatric Ground Transport team while playing an active, major role in medical education by instructing and supervising pediatric residents and medical students.

- 197-bed pediatric facility (including 40 private inpatient beds, 8 short-stay beds, 14 PICU beds, 8 Pediatric CVICU beds, 18 Pediatric ED beds, and a 109-bed Level IV NICU)
- Level I Children’s Surgery Verified and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- Serving a population of approximately 2 million in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
