Practice Highlights
- 294-bed acute-care hospital with ACS-verified Level 3 trauma designation and active pursuit of Level 2 status
- 29 dedicated critical care beds and 10 operating rooms on campus
- Overnight (nocturnist) schedule covering the ICU, critical care, intermediate care, and trauma floor
- Triage and primary management of Level 2 trauma activations, including acute resuscitations; direct assistance with Level 1 activations
- Full procedural scope: EFAST exams, central and arterial line insertion, intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and laceration closure

Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner master's degree program
- NPs must hold AGACNP or ACNP certification
- Active Texas APP licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required; ATLS familiarity or certification preferred
- Prior APP clinical experience in trauma, surgery, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred
- Demonstrated procedural proficiency and strong surgical and critical care knowledge base
