Diagnostic Radiologist | North Carolina

A community-based healthcare system in Western North Carolina is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist through StaffMed Health Partners to join an established radiology group in Morganton, NC. ### What you'll do - Perform general diagnostic radiology reads across a robust imaging infrastructure that includes trauma-level support - Interpret breast imaging studies as part of a mixed breast imaging and general radiology workload - Participate in a low-burden backup call rotation (1:6) - Collaborate with a fellowship-trained, collegial radiology team - Maintain predictable scheduling with a balanced daily workload ### What we're looking for - Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology (required) - Comfort with both general radiology and breast imaging modalities - Active or eligibile NC medical license - Fellowship training valued but not required - Ability to work effectively within a close-knit community practice setting ### What's included - Competitive base compensation with productivity incentives - Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance - 10 weeks PTO annually - CME allowance plus dedicated CME time - Comprehensive benefits: health, disability, malpractice coverage, and retirement plan - Overnight reads covered by a dedicated night team; moonlighting opportunities available ### About the practice The practice is a stable, established radiology group embedded within a leading community-based healthcare system in the Blue Ridge Mountains region of Western North Carolina.
