About this role

AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is hiring a full-time Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor to lead daily imaging operations at its facility in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Provide day-to-day supervision of radiologic technologists and support staff, coordinating workflow, staffing assignments, room utilization, and patient volumes - Serve as a clinical resource on imaging protocols, positioning, image quality, radiation safety (ALARA), and regulatory/accreditation compliance - Lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing competency assessment for new hires and radiology students - Support performance management through coaching, talent care reviews, and team member development - Participate in quality improvement initiatives including image quality audits, repeat analysis, and process improvement projects - Manage scheduling, timekeeping, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance coordination to meet operational and budget goals ### What we're looking for - Active ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required - BLS/CPR certification required - Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred - 5+ years of diagnostic imaging experience preferred - 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred - Proficiency performing complex imaging procedures including fluoroscopy and OR image guidance without constant technical supervision ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hr ($65,624–$122,075 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is a community hospital within the AdventHealth system, a faith-based nonprofit health network operating across multiple states. The imaging department supports a collaborative environment with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality diagnostic services. The supervisor role operates primarily Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with flexibility as operational needs require.
