About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its outpatient clinic at 30115 State Rd 52 in San Antonio, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation in the practice's EHR at the time of service - Administer medications, initiate testing, and document results per established protocols - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear, accurate communication - Maintain OSHA compliance, safety policies, and office regulatory standards - Monitor and manage supply inventory and ensure medical equipment remains in working order ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating clinics and hospitals across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
