About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (Practice-Based) at its outpatient clinic located at 30115 State Road 52 in San Antonio, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the practice's designated system - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment, ensuring readiness for patient care - Support clinic operations by traveling to other sites as needed to fulfill staffing requirements ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant work experience (preferred) - Proficiency in medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Continuing education and career development support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
