About this role
A full-time night-shift Registered Nurse role on the Cardiac Med/Surg unit at AdventHealth DeLand in DeLand, Florida, with up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $3,000 relocation assistance.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care through effective communication and teamwork.
- Apply EKG interpretation skills and advanced life support competencies as required by unit protocols.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (or compact state eligibility).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) at minimum.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- EKG interpretation ability consistent with unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and abstract reasoning skills to assess patients and revise care plans based on outcomes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; basic computer proficiency in Windows-based programs.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annually).
