About this role

A full-time night-shift PCU/Observation Registered Nurse role at AdventHealth Kissimmee in Kissimmee, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for PCU/OBS patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication. - Perform EKG monitoring as required per unit guidelines and advanced life support protocols. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Kissimmee is a full-service hospital located at 2450 N Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee, FL 34744, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States.
