Certified Medical Assistant- Primary Care & Pediatrics

AdventHealth Gordon is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Primary Care & Pediatrics clinic in Calhoun, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, initiate testing, and document results in the practice's designated system - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear, accurate instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment - Maintain OSHA compliance and organizational safety policies; travel as needed to support clinic staffing ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.36–$26.17/hr ($34,029–$54,434 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Gordon is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network with a mission rooted in whole-person care.
