AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Internal/Family Medicine clinic at 400 Timms Rd in Calhoun, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the practice system.
- Administer medications, collect labs, and assist with closure of care gaps during office visits.
- Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service.
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions.
- Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment.
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Pay range: $16.36–$26.17/hour ($34,029–$54,434 annualized).
