Certified Medical Assistant CMA Primary Care Clinic

A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is needed at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth's primary care clinic in Carol Stream, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and initiate clinical testing - Document patient encounter results and maintain accurate records in the practice's designated system - Support efficient clinic flow across a Monday–Saturday schedule in a fast-paced outpatient setting - Stay current on all organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards - Maintain annual clinical competencies and complete required written assessments - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of medical assistant experience, preferably in a primary care setting - Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish, English/Urdu, or English/Hindi preferred ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $18.51–$29.62 (approx. $38,500–$61,600 annualized) - Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth operates a multispecialty ambulatory network across the Chicago metro area, with this clinic located at 630 E North Ave in Carol Stream, IL.
