About this role
AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for night shift at its inpatient facility in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Apply abstract reasoning to evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Perform or interpret EKG monitoring based on unit-specific patient requirements.
- Collaborate as an active team member within the unit to ensure coordinated, safe patient care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in English (read, verbal, and written) and basic computer navigation skills.
