About this role

A Certified Medical Assistant Float supporting primary care clinics across Orange County (Orlando, Waterford Lakes, Winter Garden) with AdventHealth in Maitland, Florida. ### What you'll do - Float across multiple clinic locations to fulfill staffing needs and maintain efficient clinic operations - Perform clinical intake including screenings, history taking, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and care-gap closure - Administer medications, collect labs, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the designated EHR - Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear, accurate guidance - Monitor and manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies and properly functioning medical equipment ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Working knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site outpatient environment ### What's included - Hourly pay range $17.11–$27.38 (~$35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus (where applicable) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one plus 4 weeks fully paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan - Mileage and toll reimbursement for travel between clinic sites ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
