About this role
A part-time Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse role on the day shift at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in La Grange, Illinois.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active Illinois RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills.
- Additional certifications (TNCC, CCRN, ONS, SCRN, etc.) preferred.

- Hourly pay range: $33.60–$56.52 (annualized ~$69,888–$117,562 based on full-time equivalent).
