Certified Medical Assistant Practice Based

A Certified Medical Assistant is needed at AdventHealth's practice-based outpatient clinic in Wesley Chapel, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the designated system - Administer medications, assist with minor procedures, and close care gaps during office visits - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment - Travel as needed to support staffing needs and clinic operations across locations ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - 1+ year of related medical assistant work experience (preferred) - Proficiency with computers and ability to work independently within certification scope ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $17.11–$27.38 ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks fully paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
