AdventHealth seeks a Market Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management to lead hospital-based risk and safety programs across its North Carolina market, based in Hendersonville, NC.
### What you'll do
- Develop, oversee, and execute operational plans for a comprehensive internal risk management program across the NC market
- Lead patient safety transformation efforts, building a culture of safety and advancing high-reliability practices organization-wide
- Analyze data from patient safety incidents and near misses to identify trends and drive improvement
- Design and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with national standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor program effectiveness through audits, performance metrics, and outcome evaluations
- Coordinate with Corporate Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, department managers, and external agencies to ensure regulatory alignment
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license [required]
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) [required]
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare-related field [required]; Master's degree [preferred]
- 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferably tertiary [required]
- 5+ years of healthcare risk management experience [required]
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) [preferred]; Just Culture or Lean/Six Sigma training a plus
