Certified Medical Assistant Family Medicine Black Mountain

A Certified Medical Assistant joins AdventHealth's Family Medicine clinic in Black Mountain, North Carolina, delivering direct patient care in a Monday–Friday outpatient setting. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation per policy - Administer medications and collect labs; communicate test results and close care gaps during office visits - Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and employee administrative and medical information - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic operations ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease management concepts, and EMR/computer systems - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hr ($34,154–$54,642 annualized) - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 - Relocation assistance up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan; career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating outpatient clinics and hospitals across multiple states.
