About this role
AdventHealth Port Charlotte is hiring a full-time RN Resident for night/weekend shifts at its inpatient facility in Port Charlotte, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and understanding.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing necessary interventions to stabilize patients.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills for high-acuity patient management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior acute care hospital experience preferred; new graduates considered.

- Hourly pay range of $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
