Certified Medical Assistant Multispecialty Candler

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its multispecialty outpatient clinic at 1388 Sand Hill Rd, Candler, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures and document results accurately in the practice's designated system - Administer medications, initiate testing, and support closure of care gaps during patient visits - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor and manage supply inventory and ensure medical equipment is in working order - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hr (~$34,154–$54,642 annually) - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 - Relocation assistance up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan; career development and well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating multispecialty clinics and hospitals across the United States.
