About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse to join the inpatient nursing team at its 7700 S Broadway campus in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors to guide individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse reactions, and document all interventions accurately in the medical record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across shifts.
- Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions as needed.
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to healthcare team members, ensuring quality and efficiency on the unit.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Fluency in English (reading, verbal, and written); basic computer proficiency in Windows-based programs.
