Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care+

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Primary Care+ clinic on E Hwy 50 in Clermont, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, collect labs, initiate testing, and document results in the EHR at time of service - Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate procedural documentation - Educate patients on medications, tests, and dietary instructions clearly and accurately - Monitor inventory and maintain functioning medical equipment and supplies - Maintain OSHA compliance and organizational safety standards across all clinic operations ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of medical assistant or related clinical experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work a rotating schedule including evenings until 8 PM and weekends ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr (~$35,589–$56,950 annually) - Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus (when applicable) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Primary Care+ in Clermont operates as an extended-hours primary care clinic, offering weekday and weekend availability to serve a broad patient population.
