About this role

AdventHealth Lake Wales is hiring a full-time Certified Patient Care Technician (Night Shift) to provide direct bedside patient care at its acute care facility in Lake Wales, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform treatments per policy, delivering care appropriate to patient age, mobility, acuity, and cultural needs - Assist the registered nurse in delivering patient care, including obtaining nursing history and reporting abnormalities - Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy - Respond appropriately during clinical emergencies and follow prescribed isolation and infection-control protocols - Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff - Participate in performance improvement activities and support quality standards ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - One of the following credentials: CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT (required) - 1+ year of PCT experience (preferred) - Prior bedside patient care in an acute care unit, or experience as a unit secretary or monitor technician (preferred) - Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care team members ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $15.31–$24.49 (approximately $31,845–$50,939 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Wales is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission rooted in whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
