Sebring/Lake Placid/Wauchula- Summer Nurse Residency

A Summer Nurse Residency position on the night shift at AdventHealth Sebring, serving patients across the Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula communities in Florida. ### What you'll do - Complete timely, holistic patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors - Develop and implement individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-range goals, modifying as patient conditions evolve - Interpret diagnostic data — including lab results, non-invasive monitoring, and interdisciplinary notes — relative to patient age and condition - Adhere to regulatory standards, infection prevention protocols, and medication safety practices - Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and promote an exceptional patient experience through hourly rounding and clear patient/family education - Participate in practice changes, process improvement initiatives, and all required continuing education ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida - New graduate RN or RN with fewer than 12 months of clinical experience - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required within 6 months of hire; current BLS preferred at time of hire) - EKG competency per facility/unit requirements - Prior experience as a CNA, Student Nurse Tech, Triage Tech, or EMT in an acute care setting preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53 – $50.40/hr ($65,582 – $104,832 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Sebring is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
