About this role

AdventHealth DeLand is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift in DeLand, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform venous access procedures within RN scope of practice, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. - Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on individual patient responses. - Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy. - Monitor nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and execute improvement plans to maintain clinical standards. - Identify staff training needs, organize educational programs, and mentor team members to support professional growth. - Manage unit-level business operations including productivity monitoring and financial practices. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required. - Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience — preferred. - 1+ year of nursing experience in an acute care setting — preferred. - Demonstrated ability to lead performance improvement initiatives and think critically about unit operations. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hour (~$70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth DeLand is a community hospital located in DeLand, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
