RN Physician Informatic Advocate Intermediate

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time RN Physician Informatics Advocate (Intermediate) at its Zephyrhills, Florida campus to serve as a clinical information systems resource and liaison between providers and health IT teams. ### What you'll do - Round daily in the acute care setting to proactively identify and resolve provider EMR workflow issues - Research, validate, and log provider EMR enhancement requests; obtain operational design approval for recommended solutions - Conduct annual IT outreach touchpoints with medical staff, sharing application tips and best-practice guidance - Deliver provider orientations, train-the-trainer sessions, and education on new applications or updated functionality - Develop and maintain health information technology training materials aligned with current clinical practice and workflows - Support go-live events and post-go-live optimization at local and satellite facilities, including flexible shift availability ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Master's in Informatics, Computer Science, or IT (preferred) - Minimum 5 years of combined clinical and informatics experience (required) - Recent hands-on experience with health information technology and EMR systems, Epic preferred - Advanced knowledge of provider workflow including CPOE and clinical documentation - Expert conflict management, written communication, and escalation-process adherence skills ### What's included - Salary range: $68,133 – $119,520 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating more than 50 hospital campuses across nine states.
