About this role
AdventHealth Dade City is hiring a part-time night-shift Med-Surg RN (7:15 PM – 6:45 AM) at its hospital in Dade City, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and adjusting plans as patient status changes.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure seamless communication across the team.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Respond to code situations promptly and provide stabilizing interventions as required.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- EKG competency per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with effective written and verbal communication.

- Hourly pay range: $31.53 – $57.47 (annualized $65,582 – $119,538 based on 2,080 hours).
