About this role
AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for its Medical-Surgical unit (5:1 patient ratio) at its Ocala, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and maintaining safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and accurate, timely medical-record documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license (required).
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (required).
- EKG competency per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and abstract-reasoning skills for dynamic patient-care situations.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized).
