About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist IV – EP to perform advanced cardiac and electrophysiology procedures at its hospital campus in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic and complex cardiovascular procedures including coronary, electrophysiology, peripheral, structural heart, and pediatric interventions
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures, including administration of contrast media
- Monitor and document patient hemodynamics, ECG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry using specialized clinical equipment
- Respond to clinical emergencies within scope of practice and fulfill scheduled emergency call responsibilities
- Train and supervise new personnel, providing orientation and ongoing education for the cardiovascular team
- Participate in quality and performance improvement activities and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science degree required; Bachelor of Science preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant healthcare experience; 2+ years in cardiac cath lab, EP, neurosciences, critical care, or interventional radiology preferred
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- One of the following credentials required: RN, RT(R)(ARRT), RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVIT, Licensed Paramedic, or CST
- Advanced knowledge of ECG interpretation, arrhythmia management, and complex electrophysiology procedures
- Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular and vascular anatomy, and interventional radiology procedures
