Licensed Practical Nurse (Family Practice)

An LPN is needed at AdventHealth's family practice clinic located at 7450 Kessler Street in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Coordinate and deliver patient-focused care within a physician-led family practice clinic - Room patients, ensure comfort, and prepare examining rooms for provider visits - Perform patient intake, obtain and document vital signs, and update patient records - Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and minor office surgical procedures - Conduct phlebotomy and perform laboratory tests in compliance with state and federal regulations - Operate clinical equipment including EKG machines, pulse oximeters, glucose monitors, and oxygen devices ### What we're looking for - Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Kansas — required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required - High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate degree in Practical Nursing — preferred - Minimum 1 year of position-related clinical experience — preferred - Proficiency with standard clinical and office equipment; on-the-job orientation provided ### What's included - Pay range: $20.95–$38.96/hour ($43,576–$81,037 annualized) - Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks fully paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
