AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a full-time Nurse Manager for its Medical/Surgical Unit with Telemetry, based in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard qualified nursing personnel to maintain appropriate unit staffing levels.
- Deliver ongoing education, orientation programs, and training to build staff competency and support professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address staff conflicts to sustain a collaborative unit culture.
- Develop and manage the nursing unit budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives using data and evidence-based practice to drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient care outcomes continuously and adjust care plans and interventions to achieve optimal results.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience and 1 year of leadership experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (Cerner) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements including Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
