Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care+

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Primary Care+ clinic located in Land O Lakes (Tampa area), Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, collect labs, initiate testing, and document results in the practice's designated system - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear and accurate communication - Monitor and manage inventory to maintain adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Knowledge of medical terminology, chronic disease management, and patient advocacy - Proficiency with computer systems and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $17.11–$27.38 (~$35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth operates a network of faith-based health system clinics across Florida, including this Primary Care+ location co-located within a Walgreens in Land O Lakes.
