About this role
AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its 45-bed Adult Medical Telemetry unit in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Interpret telemetry rhythms and apply cardiac monitoring skills to patients with complex medical needs.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with providers, case management, therapy teams, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient-centered care.
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher.
- Current Florida RN license or multistate compact licensure.
- Minimum six months of prior RN experience.
- Current BLS certification.
