About this role

AdventHealth Lake Wales is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for night shift at its acute care hospital in Lake Wales, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to uphold clinical standards - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and structured professional development programs - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to maintain patient safety standards ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (preferred) - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience (preferred) - Strong critical thinking, financial/productivity management skills, and Electronic Health Record proficiency ### What's included - Pay range: $32.79–$60.99/hr (~$68,203–$126,859 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Wales is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states.
