Registered Nurse Radiation Oncology FT Days

AdventHealth Palm Coast seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for its Radiation Oncology department, working day shifts at the Palm Coast, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Perform and document nursing assessments, including complete admission evaluations, pain screening, and age-appropriate developmental assessments - Administer treatments and medications, interpret and verify physician orders, and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions - Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and identify evolving physical or emotional dependency needs - Provide patient and family education on planned and spontaneous bases, including sensitive communication with terminally ill patients and their families - Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies and apply CDC isolation guidelines, PPE protocols, and hand hygiene standards - Support departmental quality initiatives and participate in practice changes driven by performance improvement activities ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - BLS certification (required); ACLS (preferred) - Knowledge of Radiation Oncology clinical pathways and oncology nursing practice - PACU, pre-, and post-anesthesia knowledge - 1+ year of acute care and/or oncology experience (preferred); bilingual English/Spanish a plus ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Palm Coast is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, nonprofit health network serving communities across the United States.
