### What you'll do
- Communicate referral and admission information between patients, referral sources, and clinical staff, updating electronic medical records throughout the process
- Schedule patient appointments and track pending admissions via scheduler systems, contacting patients and referral sources as needed
- Initiate patient records with demographic data, condition, referral source, and pertinent clinical details in the EMR
- Generate daily triage reports and distribute referral outcome communications to appropriate team members
- Provide telephonic support to referral sources to initiate patient admissions and dispatch clinical providers for assessments
- Obtain consents and relay information to patients and family members visiting the facility as needed
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of administrative, clerical, healthcare, or call center experience
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
- Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong critical thinking skills related to the patient admission process
