About this role
A full-time Registered Nurse role at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, a hospital-based position delivering direct patient care across acute care units in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and supervising delegated care activities.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification — required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting — preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Specialty certifications (TNCC, CCRN-E, ONS, NRP, SCRN, etc.) preferred depending on unit placement.
