A PRN Dietary Float position at Texas Health Huguley Medical Center in Burleson, Texas, supporting patient meal services across inpatient units on a day-shift, as-needed basis.
### What you'll do
- Guide patients through meal ordering using a computerized diet office system, ensuring selections meet prescribed therapeutic diet requirements.
- Verify patient identifiers at meal delivery, confirm tray accuracy, and ensure patients have everything needed before departing the room.
- Round on patients and nursing staff to identify foodservice concerns and execute service recovery to improve patient satisfaction scores.
- Assemble and deliver trays in accordance with therapeutic diet guidelines and presentation standards across all patient care areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and regulation-compliant work environment throughout shifts of up to 12 hours.
### What we're looking for
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math calculation skills.
- Physical capability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, and sustain activity through a full shift.
- No formal education, prior work experience, or licensure required — entry-level candidates welcome.
