A Quality Measures Medical Assistant role at AdventHealth supports ambulatory clinic operations focused on chronic disease management and care gap closure in Lake Mary, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation per policy - Administer medications, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the designated EHR at the time of service - Close care gaps and support chronic disease management during patient office visits - Assist with minor procedures and provide patient education on tests, medications, and diet - Maintain OSHA compliance, office safety processes, and medical supply inventory - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active medical assistant certification: CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of related medical assistant or clinical work experience (preferred) - Familiarity with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Proficiency with computer systems and EHR documentation ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $17.11–$27.38 ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals, physician practices, and outpatient clinics across multiple states.
