About this role
Texas Health Huguley is hiring a full-time RN for its Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit on the night shift at their Burleson, Texas hospital.
### What you'll do
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, patients, and families.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments covering biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and post-hospital care providers and community health resources.
- Manage patient transitions through the care system, transferring accountability upon discharge.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations according to established protocols.
- Participate in practice group meetings and peer review processes.
### What we're looking for
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required).
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- 1+ year of acute care nursing experience (preferred).
- Ability to exercise independent professional clinical judgment while knowing when to escalate.
- Demonstrated compliance with safety and infection control policies.
